Education and business are increasingly converging with each other. This trend is not simple and takes time, but is dictated by market needs. Success here largely depends on how large companies will behave, whether they will be able to influence the educational process so that educational institutions will begin to prepare not just people with diplomas, but sought-after specialists. Sergey Galkin, head of the educational institutions department at CSoft Group, presented his view on the situation and possible approaches to solving these issues to RSpectr readers.
DIGITAL CHALLENGES FOR EDUCATION
One of the main criteria of the fourth industrial revolution is the rapidity of the creation and implementation of new technologies for most sectors of content writing service industry. This factor also introduces changes into the system of training industry specialists. This, of course, is not only good technological training, but also deep knowledge of innovative, modern technologies, now these are primarily IT solutions.
This process can be compared to a technological tsunami: on the one hand, a huge volume of proposals for digitalization, on the other hand, not all of these solutions are really useful and necessary for business. Understanding them and determining what really needs to be implemented in the learning process is not an easy task. Such conditions create new, special requirements and challenges for education. At a minimum, a modular, flexible approach is needed in training specialists with the creation of a unique track for the student, even with streaming training. A more difficult task is to predict which areas of training will not lose relevance during the educational cycle.
Just 10-15 years ago, neither vendors nor customers actively influenced the personnel training system. It was believed that it was enough to produce a quality product: equipment, software or engineering services, and the customer was satisfied with purchasing all of this, and the specialists would catch up on their own. But since technologies were constantly becoming more complex, at a certain point it became clear that vendors needed to get involved in the process of training specialists. Developers who are concerned about long-term development for decades to come began to actively interact with educational organizations. Indeed, who, if not the creator of a new technology, process or product, can teach how to work with it professionally? It is worth noting that this is a global trend, within which our country is also moving, being one of the leaders in the field of IT solutions.
